Art is growth. Art is creation and expansion. Art is the ability to construct, tear apart, capture, build, and burn to make sense of the world around us. And this may be the world as it truly is, through documentation, or a reaction to the reality of existence. This may also be a bringing into a physical form what exists beyond the physical realm and exists in thought. To bring images of the mind and vision of aesthetics into a tangible form. Aesthetics to reflect emotion. Art is emotion. Whether it can be a solid form concept or not, there is emotion and thought and feeling within every mark made or image captured.

My most visited subject are womanhood, indulgence, hedonism, motherhood, abstracted forms, and complexity of thought. I also utilize music, connecting sound and lyrics, to color and gestural movements either in painting or in video or photography work. My work also has a wide reaching range of materials and mediums. The main focuses of my works are multimedia painting, fiber works and installations, and photography and video work. I utilize whichever medium best suits the feeling I’m looking to convey, which varies from piece to piece.
